Macy wanted no part of posing for pictures with her sister. Maybe next year...

Easter

When you're a resident's kid, sometimes the Easter Bunny has to hide your eggs and basket in daddy's call room :) Both of the girls had a blast searching for the eggs they made. Macy was thrilled for her Beat Beats CD (Fresh Beat Band). She jumped up and down and clapped her hands. So cute!

We had a lot of fun coloring Easter eggs tonight. It was Macy's first time participating in the festivities and she really seemed to enjoy getting messy. She didn't know what to make of the egg. She called it a ball, tried to take a big bite of it (shell and all), and cracked it off her tray a few times.

Easter Bunny Lane

We met up with my mom, nephews, and niece today at Kraynak's Easter bunny lane. The kids enjoyed the Easter display and really enjoyed the toy store at the end of the display. Genius idea by the way.

The Lake

One of my favorite things about Erie is being able to see the lake from where we live in Summit. The lake is about 8 miles or so from our house but on a clear day you can see it. These pictures were taken from Walmart's parking lot so don't mind the telephone poles and light posts :) It really is beautiful to see in person.

Easter Egg Hunt 2012

The girls had a great time at the annual Easter egg hunt at my parents' house. This year there were approximately 3,000 eggs up for grabs, as well as a ton of candy and prizes. Macy was not very interested in hunting for eggs but she was very excited about her singing, guitar playing stuffed bunny. Whenever the kids turn in their eggs, they are given money for the eggs and an Easter basket or stuffed animal. Abby, of course, picked a pink basket full of jewelry, a purse, a wand, and a tiara. We had pretty nice weather and all 60 or so kids seemed to have a great time.
