Trick or Treat!

Abby was sooo excited for trick or treat. She could not wait to wear her bumble bee costume. She told me all week that she could not wait to say "trick or treat!" and get chocolate. She is definately 100% girl.

Halloween Night

Zoo Boo!

We went to the Erie Zoo for Zoo Boo 2009! Abby was so excited to dress up as her favorite animal, the baby jaguar, and trick or treat with her new friends Wade and Jake. The kids had a blast running around the zoo collecting candy, looking at the animals, and dancing on the boogie stage to songs like the Monster Mash and Purple People Eater. It was a beautiful October night in PA.

Fun with Our Family

One thing we love about living in Erie is that we get to see our family a lot more often. My sister, brother-in-law, and nephews came to visit. It was a jammed packed weekend. We went to the zoo, Chuckie Cheese, and rode go-carts and bumper boats. It was a whirlwind weekend but we enjoyed every minute. Abby loves spending time with her cousins. It's great that they are so close in age and enjoy each other so much.

A Day at the Farm

We've been spending some of our free time on the weekend checking out the local pumpkin farms. Abby really looks forward to her time with daddy, especially if it means she gets to be outside while doing it.

Kayla's Wedding

We all had the priviledge of being a part of my sister-in-law Kayla's big day. Abby looked adorable but her behavior throughout the day was at times less than adorable. Luckily, Kayla was a very very understanding bride and just laughed as Abby screamed her head off during pictures. Needless to say, Abby was not in very many formal pics. Things turned around at the reception. Abby was a dancin machine. All and all, it was a great day. Kayla looked beautiful and almost everything went off without a hitch. We're also excited to welcome her new husband Dave to the family.

We bought a family pass to the Erie Zoo. What a great investment. We go almost every weekend and Abby loves looking at all the animals, especially the jaguars and penguins. She is also a big fan of the baby ducks that wander around the zoo and will waddle right up to you. Abby is a definate animal lover so the zoo is right up her alley.

Abby Loves Chuckie

Abby loves living less than two miles from Chuckie Cheese. As we drive into the parking lot, she excitedly announces "Chuckie, I here. It's me Abby."

Our Little Princess!
Abby is 2 years old. She is so much fun and is learning more and more everyday. She has quite the vocabulary and she loves to use it! She is full of energy and loves to be outside playing on her new swing set (thanks mam mam & pap) or riding her bike.

Our New Home

We love our new house! We are so glad to finally be settled.

Graduation & Good-Bye to Our VCOM family

We will miss you all dearly. Thank you for your friendship and for making the last four years a lot more fun than we even thought possible.

Thank you for checking out our blog. I am very new to this and hope I can keep up with it. It has been a crazy couple months. We moved to Erie PA back in March when I accepted a job heading up a pilot mental health project. We weren't expecting to move away from our wonderful friends in Christiansburg so quickly but God was gracious in providing me with a great job opportunity so we went. KJ graduated from medical school in May! It was no doubt one of the proudest, most exciting moments of our married life. He started his four year emergency medicine residency this month at Hamot Medical Center. He is really enjoying it so far and believes that he has definately found his calling. Our beautiful girl, Abby, is now 2 years old! It's so hard to believe that she has grown so fast. She is very spirited and she loves to talk. She keeps us on our toes and is always making us laugh. She was very very excited to move into "Abby's house" as she calls it. There are lots of little ones on the street for her to play with and she is especially loving the fact that she has a yard to play in. God has been so good to us!
