Disney Trip 2011

We had the wonderful opportunity (thanks mom & dad!) to go to Disney World with the entire family. We got to spend time with both mine and K.J.'s families. It was awesome to have the chance to experience the kids' first trip to Disney World all together. There is no doubt that these types of vacations can get very stressful but there were so many incredible moments mixed in that it was all worth it. Abby absolutely loved meeting all the princessses. She also very much liked that everyone at the park referred to her as "princess" our entire stay. Now that we're home we have to help her get her ego back in check :) Macy loved the It's a Small World ride as well as the Beauty and the Beast show. Although the kids may not remember it...this is a trip that all the adults will never forget!

Puppy Love

Worm Farm!

Abby loves playing with worms. Her grandmother and uncle got her a worm farm so she could keep her worm friends with her all year. She loved putting it together and likes to watch them burrowing in the dirt.

Family Fun!

We had a fun visit with K.J.'s family. We spent some time at the local amusement park and the girls had a great time on the rides. We have some great action shots of us on the rides (courtesy of Aunt Kayla). Nothing makes you feel old like when your stomach protests against any ride that spins.

So excited for pool time!

Macy was so excited to try out her new pool that I didn't get the chance to change her into a bathing suit before she hopped in. It really distresses Abby when Macy doesn't follow "the rules."

Chocolate???

Chocolate?? No unfortunately this is mud on her face. She decided she wanted a taste of topsoil. Here's a list of non-food items Macy has now sampled....mud, grass, mulch, rocks, bugs, dog food, and probably some other things we haven't caught.

I got my backsplash! Yay!

A huge thank you to my wonderful husband and in-laws who worked so hard to give me an awesome backsplash in my kitchen.  It looks so good that I try to show it off whenever I get the chance.
